The Best Vacuum For Pet Owners

Today’s post and my personal search for The Best Vacuum for Pet Owners has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #CleaningUntangled #CollectiveBias

A couple of weekends ago, we celebrated the 2nd birthday of our newest pup, Murphy. I’ve been bombarding you with cake photos and party details, and for that I do apologize, but I just want to make sure the memories make their way onto the blog. I thoroughly understand if I’ve bored you to tears! If you’ve been entertained, however…hooray!

As you know, I own THREE Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Stella and Milo have been with us since they were puppies (they are turning 3 soon) and we adopted Murphy last November. It’s been WILD having 3 dogs, but it’s also been a lot of fun. It should come as no surprise that they have lots of CKCS friends, too. Murphy’s birthday party featured 9 (yep, nine) of them.

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Birthday Party

If I thought my 3 left behind a lot of dog hair in a short period of time, let me just tell you what NINE are capable of leaving behind! There was hair on the floors, hair on the couch, hair on the bench, hair somehow on the window sills…..I had my cleaning work cut out for me but the birthday soiree was well worth it.

(with every wag, stray hairs will hit the floor. Also? Cavaliers LOVE to wag)

The breed is notorious for being moderate to heavy shedders and most people elect to groom them with shorter cuts in the warmer months to help combat when their coats are heaviest. One time, prior to experiencing the season of shedding with my Lucy, I asked my vet what the heck was going on. “Is she okay? Why is she shedding so much? Is this normal?” to which he replied “oh sure, she’s just blowing her coat”. Rather than looking like I knew nothing about my dog’s hairy situation I raced home and googled. Sure enough, it’s a thing and my beloved crew triple the fun for me these days.

Meet the hairy offenders:

Add together 3 shedding dogs + 1 mildly OCD clean freak + dark hardwood floors that show EVERYTHING  + a party birthday featuring more shedding dogs = I need a vacuum cleaner that could work overtime. The search was on for the best vacuum for pet owners!

Say hello to the Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal®.

Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal®

With its SuctionSeal® technology, I can seamlessly go from hardwood floors (90% of my home), onto the bathroom tile, then whip around the bedroom carpet with the touch of a button while never losing suction.

(Stella being skeptical)

But what’s even better is its self-cleaning brushroll! Remember the old days when anytime you vacuumed up long hair, sewing threads, etc and it turned into a jumbled mess? No longer the problem with this vacuum. Not only does it self clean and dispose of the hair into the clear canister (so you get a really good look at all the funk it’s picking up!), it also has a button that will cut away the hair that does find itself trapped in the roller.

And if you were wondering just how much hair my dogs leave behind….

Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal®

Oh, good gracious!

I love my new vacuum so much I’m using it multiple times a week and my floors are so clean I nearly slipped the other night!

(Stella still not convinced we need something to pick up all her hair).

You can find the Eureka Brushroll Clean™ with SuctionSeal® at Walmart.

And if you’re feeling lucky, you can win one!
