Picnics, Potlucks & Porch Parties Blogger Potluck
Hi there! Howdy! Hiya! Happy Monday!!!
Can I just go ahead and say that I am so, so excited about this week?!! I literally bounced out of bed this morning ready to tackle this week head on like a little ball of fury.
For starters, this week is the final countdown before I head to PA for my appearance on QVC (May 18th 7-9pm CST). I’m starting to getting nervous and a bit terrified, but overall I’m super excited. Just praying I don’t faint or talk too much- it’s LIVE television y’all!
Secondly, I’m downright giddy because nearly every time I check my mailbox….I’ve been in it. Now, let me be clear. I don’t say this to toot my horn. In fact, I’m learning that tooting my own is a bit of a struggle for me. I find it so very unnatural to ask for press, for favors, or for others to hop on the horn tooting wagon. So to find such nice features nestled inside my mailbox with people so willing to toot my horn gets me every time. So grateful!
So, so grateful to my Junior League of Baton Rouge friends as well.
And finally, last but certainly not least…I’m excited about this week because today marks the beginning of a week long Picnics, Potlucks & Porch Parties Blogger Potluck! I’ve asked some of my FAVORITE bloggy buddies to join me in sharing a recipe from the book for a virtual potluck dinner. I was very strategic about the ladies that I chose to join me and my sincerest hope is that you’ll stumble upon someone new and they’ll become one of your favorites, too. From entertaining superstars to baking sensations on down to the queens of creativity….I think you’ll enjoy visiting their sites.
Now, obviously a potluck blog hop is more fun when you can actually eat the food we’re sharing rather than being asked to simply drool all over your keyboards, so to compensate, I’ve added a prize package just for you. You have the chance to win everything you might possibly need to create a potluck worthy dish of your own!

Yay! So excited for you! I love the Kori Clark tote and how it matches your book cover. Everything is so pretty and I can’t wait to see inside the book. I’m going to be on vacation that day, but I’ll mark my calendar and hopefully have some time to peek in on you on QVC. (And you’ll be GREAT on live TV!!)
THANK YOU!!!! I adore those tote bags, too! Kori is so, so talented…..and always puts up with my “bright ideas”. Have fun on your vacation!!!! 🙂
You were awesome on QVC!! So incredibly excited to get your cookbook!!! I just don’t know what to make first!!! They all look delicious!! Congratulations!!
Dear Aimee,
I’ve spent probably the last thirty minutes or so talking with your mom about you.
Just the craziest thing ever. We talk back and forth on fb every now and then, and i’ll ask how you and Allison are doing, anyway, she posts something about her daughter Aimee Broussard, a cookbook, and QVC, and i’m like wait, what, I just bought a cookbook from QVC by an Aimee Broussard, surely she can’t be the same person I saw on tv, but as it turns out, it was. I could hardly believe it. Just wanted to say hi and wish you much success on your book and all the ones to follow.
