Hot Chocolate Stir Sticks

You guys, I’m so stinking excited to share these Hot Chocolate Stir Sticks not because I think you need a tutorial to show you how to make them, but because they are so easy and so cute I know you’re going to want to whip some up to add to your holiday gifts. They are easy to create and add a perfect homemade touch to your holiday gift baskets.

A couple of mugs, a box of K-cups and these Hot Chocolate Stir Sticks and you have an irresistibly cute Christmas gift on hand for any impromptu visitors that catch you off guard without a gift.

Or, maybe you want to make and keep them for your own personal hot cocoa station. I certainly made a couple for myself!

You’ll need the following to get started:

Wooden spoons

Chocolate Chip Morsels

Mini Marshmallows

Clear Treat Bags (lollipop size)

Ribbon, Twine, Fabric Scraps

You’ll want a relatively narrow container to dip your chocolate. Simply melt the desired amount (depending on how many spoons you’re dipping will determine how much you need). I made a set of 4 and used about 1/2 cup of chocolate chips with 1 tablespoon vegetable oil added in.

Dip the spoon into the chocolate, rocking back and forth carefully to get all of the curved portion of the spoon.

While the chocolate is still wet and before it begins hardening, add 3 mini marshmallows.

Allow the spoons to dry completely, then cover with a clear treat baggie and adorn with ribbon.

Easy peasey!
