There was a time that if I heard “Oriental Trading”, I was immediately transported back to high school and was sitting in planning meetings for our Homecoming dances.
I affiliated Oriental Trading with tinsel and party horns and that was about it.
Boy, have they come along way since those high school planning meetings!
From bulk candy to paper goods to personalized napkins to party favors, I was quite surprised with the selection.
The website is extremely user friendly. Just choose the occasion you’re preparing for, narrow it down by color or theme and everything is displayed nicely for you.
Here’s a refresher from Stella & Milo’s Barkery Birthday.

The red satin ties on the canvas wreaths? Oriental Trading.
The personalized treat jars? Those are Oriental Trading, too.
The oh so cute dog face suckers? Oriental Trading!
I also received some red chevron plates and napkins (Oriental Trading has chevron!) that didn’t make it into the photos, so I’ll be using those for the 4th of July but they are fantastic as well.
The treat jars were my favorite. They came personalized with each dog’s name and were the perfect pop of red on the cake table.
And….they’ll be able to be used long after the party!
There’s nothing worse than buying tons of party props and having them clutter your closets afterwards.
The dog face suckers were great, too.
The suckers are human grade so they can be easily used for a puppy pawty for a child.
Or, for yourself at your own dog party.
Have you used Oriental Trading in the past for your parties? Found other hidden gems from them I should be on the lookout for?
I have a few more projects in the works, and one involves lots and lots of pom poms.
They have those too, you know!
